Server Maintenance
Proactive maintenance of servers is critical to ensure reliability, availability, and maximum longevity. As part of the Server Maintenance plan we will monitor your servers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and perform a number of schedule maintenance tasks as detailed below:
- Monitor Servers 24x7x365: We will be alerted immediately if our systems detect issues such as low disk space or memory, high CPU utilization, service failures and more, and we will respond appropriately to rectify the situation. Our tools enable us to gather usage and trending information on your servers so we can make proactive, educated recommendations when they are approaching capacity or are reaching the end of their lifecycle.
- Patch Management: We will keep your servers up to date with service packs and routine monthly security updates. We will ensure that the maintenance occurs on a schedule that will not disrupt your business during regular working hours.
- Scheduled Server Maintenance: We will take care of the regular server maintenance tasks that need to be performed, including those that need to be carried out after normal business hours.
- Server Checks: In addition to our automated monitoring and other proactive activities, one of our network operations center (NOC) staff will log in to each of your servers on a monthly basis and carry out a comprehensive hands-on health check of the system.
24x7 Response
Sometimes it is important for you to have system issues responded to 24x7. If this is important to your business we can include the service so that any critical issues that are detected by the monitoring system are responded to immediately, 24x7 regardless of whether you select this option.
